HISTORY:
  • Most Costumes were made to match the current fashion of the time period.
  • Masks are created to fit a certain look.
  • All masks are made in the style of Carnacialesa.

Stock Characters and their masks and Costumes
  • Many of the characters do have masks but others are just heavily made up with very exaggerated features.

Arlecchino:
  • Mask: Very Rounded face with a wide nose.
  • Costume: At first patchwork with many vibrant colors then became a one piece all the same color with accent of gold.


Pantalone (Pantaloon):
  • Mask: His mask would be very "gaunt and swarthy" with a large hooked nose
  • Costume: all people playing Pantalone would have the same costume. He would be in all red piece and would have a cape and often the actor would stuff his pants to make himself more noticeable to the ladies.

The Inamorrati:
  • Typically didn't wear masks
  • Costumes the male would wear the latest fashion and their female counterparts would be in large elaborate dresses.
